CORONAVIRUS PROCEDURES
CORONAVIRUS PROCEDURES
We want provide the church family and others on the procedures that CBC will take during
the next steps of the COVID-19 crisis.
When Is Phase 3 Starting for CBC?
July 5th is the day where our new Phase 3 procedures will begin.
Will We Immediately Jump Back Into Our Old Schedule?
We will completely reopen on July 5th. As of now, we now have normal Sunday School classes, Sunday Morning, Sunday Evening, and Wednesday night services open to all. The children also have their classes open during these times, and nursery is provided for any parent comfortable. However, we will still LiveStream for those who still feel uncomfortable in coming in person.
How Will You Ensure That You Are Following The Suggested Guidelines?
We will have the service in the gym auditorium. We will also live stream the service in other parts of the Building if families with small children would prefer to participate in worship with us in that avenue.
What Will You Do to Continue to Follow Physical Distancing Guidelines?
We will have family worship. We will, however, have nursery for the children 4 and under during Sunday and Wednesday services. We check the child's temperature and sanitize their hands before that child is allowed into the nursery.
We will be removing seating from the gym auditorium to ensure physical distancing guidelines, at least 6 feet apart.
We will have hand sanitizer readily available in all common areas.
We will have a greeter outside standing in the parking lot at least 6 feet away from the door welcoming people to the service and answering any questions that guests might have.
We will not pass an offering plate around the room.
We are encouraging guests to bring their own coffees and refreshments with them, because we will be offering limited coffee and refreshments served at the facility.
What Precautions Can People Take When They Come to Service?
We encourage everyone to take certain steps to protect themselves and others from COVID-19, flu, and other illnesses. We suggests the following steps:
- Washing your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds;
- Using hand sanitizer when soap and water is not available;
- Not touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands;
- Avoiding close contact with people who are sick;
- Staying home if you or a family member are sick;
- Covering your cough or sneeze and/or wear a mask;
- Disinfecting objects and surfaces regularly.
Final Thoughts
As suggested restrictions continue to let up, the Leadership Team will review and revise our schedule.
We love you and want to see you again soon! Though we want to see you soon, we also want you to stay healthy. If you have any needs, please let us know!
